An "everyone" friendly pub which supports all sections of the gay/gay friendly crowd. Can be quiet one minute and packed the next. They have always supported BearWest and the various Bear events in Bristol. Good outside suntrap of a garden space for relaxing when the weather is good. Plenty of barbecues right through the year - most Sunday afternoon through the Summer and even some through the Winter months too!
Some great drink promotions so check out the boards outside the Village Sauna. This is also the home for Come To Daddy on the second Saturday of the month.

Come To Daddy is the UK's premier travelling MEN ONLY night which primarily attracts Bears and their admirers, but is there for all men to enjoy. The music is superb from resident DJ's DJ Daddi and guest "Butane". Sometimes really busy, sometimes quiet, but always a good night with a great atmosphere.
The venue is exclusively for Come To Daddy on the second Saturday of the month - there are drinks promotions too and the chance of a free barbecue around midnight. The OCG has a garden area for smokers.

Bristol's premier night club in the heart of The Village. Very busy with regular PA's. There's a mixture of people from twinks and their girlfriends through to Bears (although not that many) - try it if you like that full on club atmosphere!

The only gay sauna in Bristol and has been for more than a decade now - open from lunchtime Friday through until midnight on Sunday this is the busiest time. It is also open through the rest of the week from around lunchtime until midnight. It has a large 10 man hot tub, sauna, steamroom, lounges and "cinema" area and also has the "suckatorium" (bet you can't guess what that is!). Special days change frequently but every Sunday is currently Wet Fur Sunday with entry at £10 - check the Village Sauna website for up to date details on special entry.

This is the Sister bar (in more ways than one) to BBB across the road. It's beautifully crafted, camp and decadent decor gives this historic bar a superb feel. Another "Hetero friendly" bar this is where you can find various themed nights through the week, on Sunday afternoon, there's cabaret (usually very funny drag) plus there's the campest Bingo in town on a Sunday and drinks promotions too click the image above to go to the website. Very mixed age range uses this venue.

The Package is the only Men's designer underwear and lifestyle store. Also stocking leather from RoB, Bike jocks, T-shirts, novelty items, artwork, gift cards and magazines. Open 7 days a week from noon until late and you can shop online (click the header to visit their site).

If you are looking for a traditional style pub then look no further than this gay friendly venue. Open seven days a week, it serves lunch through the week then a carvery on a Sunday. Some start their Saturday night out here in the early evening before heading off somewhere a little bit livelier like The Palace or Bristol Bear Bar.

Gay run and gay friendly. Listed here mainly because there's a really great atmosphere and the food is superb. Sunday lunch is highly recommended (but phone to book as this place has a great reputation and gets very busy!)

The Old Market area has in the past couple of years become the main Gay Village area. We have only listed this main area here - there are other venues closer to the City Centre, but they attract a younger, crowd.
With a diverse range of venues which cater for all ages, shapes and sizes. Bristol boasts it's very own Bear Bar, a Monthly Men Only Club night and two major Bear weekend events and for the first time in 2010 the City also hosts a Pride event.

This is officially the feeder bar for Flamingo's Club across the road. Open late through until 2am on Saturday nights with regular drinks promotions and Sunday Drag shows. Mainly younger crowd but Sunday afternoon/evening there's usually a good mixed crowd in.

Small and perfectly formed, this is Bristols very own home of the Bears! Saturday nights are the best and busiest - it can get crowded but that's all part of the fun, mainly gay and bear crowd but all are welcome. The bar staff are brilliant, fun and flirty. Suprb atmosphere too, created by the energy of the local crowd and visitors in there. If you're coming to Bristol then this is the bar to be seen in. Open from Wednesday through to Sunday, with late nights on Friday and Saturday.

Small bar which attracts a regular crowd. Regular Happy Hours and a laid back attitude. Not the busiest place on the street, but if you're out in a small group and want something different then give it a try.

(Not currently on map). For those who remember this venue it's currently under temporary brewery management - it does still have the rainbow flag in the window so as far as we know it is still gay friendly. Really nicely decorated place too - can be quiet though so head in there with a group of friends if you plan on trying it out.
