Something new for the Bristol Bear Bar! Every Friday and Saturday night it's BARE ESSENTIALS! The light go down to make it cruisy. The latest dance tracks give the whole place a club atmosphere. So from midnight through until 2am it's the place to be!



KEY WEST in Torquay has a full weekend SAUNA FEST from 6pm on Friday 30th July. The Sauna is open through until midnight on the Friday, with an underwear, jocks and speedo theme. Saturday it's a towels optional day with a free buffet and Sunday 1st August it's a Sauna, BBQ and pool party. There's also the Toms Bar "Cruise Maze". You can do one day in the Sauna for £12, or buy a weekend pass at £25. The Resort is fully booked as far as accommodation goes (you can always give them a call just in case they have had cancellations) but you can still buy tickets direct from them for the SAUNA FEST itself.


SC BEARS meet from 9pm on the first Friday of each month. With exclusive use of the downstairs area for a MEN ONLY space.

COME TO DADDY at the Old Castle Green in Gloucester Lane. C2D takes the whole venue over from 11pm through to 4am and tonight's DJ is C2D resident DJ DADDI. The free BBQ is back too between midnight and 1am.

Entry is £5 but don't forget - if you have a BearWest Members Card you can get in for half the regular price!

This months C2D is ONE WEEK EARLY to give you a weekend off before Pride! Tonight is raising money for Pride too, so while the BBQ (from around midnight) is free, it's suggested that you make a £1 donation, there'll be a raffle and also extra strong Vodka Jelly shots for 50p each! You can also get entry to Come To Daddy tonight AND  your ticket for the Wrapped Party at Pride for just £12, so save yourself £3 on the two.


CLUB PRIMAL is the south west's biggest gay fetish night offering a fun and pleasant environment for members and their guests to chill out and enjoy themselves. Primal boasts a large array of kit and facilities including a bondage area, sling area, low lit chill out area, dance floor and a bar.

Every Sunday at THE VILLAGE SAUNA is Wet Fur Sunday for Bears and their admirers. Entry is £10. From 3pm until late, food is also available.


GEAR is at Club 'O' a brilliant venue just outside the main Village area at the Lawrence Hill roundabout - there's a small car park if you are going straight there and it's not far to walk if you're having a night out in Old Market before. There are changing facilities, full bar and GEAR is a zero attitude, MEN ONLY space. Entry is £10 and it's open from 9pm through to 2am. You DO need membership and it needs to be applied for at least 48 hours before a GEAR night, there's no entry allowed to non members on the night. Details can be found on the GEAR website.

BRISTOL PRIDE IS COMING! and it's bringing with it a collaboration between Come To Daddy, Primal and Gear for a massive men only night at Trinity. Saturday night, 21st August brings the "Wrapped Party" 3 clubs, 1 night. For those that remember the Bristol Bear Fiesta at Trinity on the Saturday night you'll know this massive venue is perfect for this MEN ONLY night. Tickets are available in advance (click the mini poster above) priced at £10 (will be £12 on the door).

The night before brings a one off pre-pride disco, again at the Trinity Centre which is open to all - but at £3 entry, with a donation going to Bristol Pride, can you afford to miss it! Look out for the flyers around Bristol for all the details.


Early September brings the second annual outing for BEARS IN THE BAY. Based at the fabulous Key West Resort which has everything for men of all shapes and sizes. It's put together by BearWest and is designed to be a very laid back affair. We have the Sauna Party, Bears on a Boat, Bears at the Bistro, the Come To Daddy night in Toms Cruise Bar under the main Key West Bar and then on Sunday a Pool Party and BearBQ. Head to The Palace for the most ball poppingly camp Bingo session in Old Market - with Fonda Cox as resident compere (with the occassional guest compere). Get down there for a full on evening of fun!
