The summer really does have it all this year! Bristol has it's first Pride event which doesn't seem to be running that smoothly behind the scenes if some stories going around are anything to go by - but then does any big event run without conflict somewhere along the way - let's just hope it's not a case of the "Lesbians taking over the Asylum"!

Fingers crossed all of the bad feeling is put aside and that the important thing is that it's a Pride to be proud of - and to all of those involved in the organisation a little reminder - think about the header text on the Pride posters around town - Celebrating Diversity and all that crap includes within our Community as well - so why not prove it's NOT all marketing with no substance and if you can do that, then best of luck from BearWest for a well balanced and fun all round Pride.

Into September - there's the second Bears In The Bay weekend - tickets are available now and we're listed on many of the popular profile sites - so get your arses down to Torquay for the most laid back weekend you'll see this year!

Planning is underway now for this years Bristol Southern HiBEARnation too - the theme involves lots of UNIFORM under the title of "BEAR PATROL" - Details will be on the website soon, we'll let you know exactly when of course! If you have any ideas then drop us a line we're always looking for something a bit different or completely new!

That didn't sound too desperate did it? We are looking for Bears to be models for upcoming projects and want to hear from you if you would like to appear on the pages of BearWest, on posters and websites for the Bristol Bear Fiesta, Southern Hibearnation and Bears in the Bay.

We will take the photo's and keep some as exclusive images for our projects. The rest we will put on a disc for you to use on profiles or your own website, all we ask is for a link back to the BearWest site wherever possible.

You must be over the age of 18 and the photo sessions may include some nude photography and also some photography in groups or as duo's.
